Similar to food waste, green (or organic) waste behaves in a similar fashion when in landfill. Due to a lack of oxygen, green waste struggles to breakdown which results in omitting the harmful greenhouse gas, methane.
At JJ’s Waste we recognise the impact that this has on the environment and have invested in vehicles and systems to tackle this.
JJ’s Waste offers fixed day collections for your green waste ensuring your bin does not sit in front of your home for days awaiting collection. We provide multiple solutions to cater to your needs with 120L, 140L*, and 240L bins to accommodate properties of all sizes.
Our services run on fortnightly cycles and through the use of our portal you have the ability to control your collections, and ultimately cost, by cancelling a collection in advance if you haven’t had the time to get out and mow the lawns.
*140L available in Hawkes Bay region only.
